Blurb:
Anwen Llewelyn works for a Temporary Office Replacement Agency as she is the designated driver for her elderly neighbor, John.

Gareth Caldwell is one of the partners at her new job and he’s immediately attracted to her slender, dark good looks, but can’t understand why, when she is so obviously an incompetent worker.

Anwen doesn’t know why she is attracted to a man with a bad temper.

Enchanting Excerpt:
“Yes, Miss Forbes. No Miss Forbes. Whatever you say, Miss Forbes,” Anwen Llewelyn chanted to herself as she sorted the paperwork into piles for Urgent, Overdue, and This Should Probably Be Urgent But The Pile Is Already Too Big.

“I can see why Miss Forbes’s lack of people skills would put anyone off from working here, but the hourly rate is too good to refuse,” she thought as she looked in horror at the height of the Overdue stack.

Anwen pushed the other two piles to one side and began sorting the Overdue stack into This Morning, This Afternoon, and Tomorrow With Luck.

Anwen worked for a Temporary Office Replacement Agency because of her neighbor John. At eighty-five his mind was still as sharp as ever but his eyesight and hearing were no longer good enough for him to drive a car or take public transportation, and she was his designated driver to his numerous medical appointments.

“Besides, I love him. He’s the grandfather I never knew,” she thought as she tackled the top item on the This Morning pile.

By 12.30, when Anwen was due to take her lunch break “This Morning” was reduced to half a dozen items she wasn’t sure how to deal with, and she left a neat file of completed paperwork in Miss Forbes’s previously empty in-tray.

Her afternoon was less productive as she spent time with Miss Forbes asking about the difficult items, but at the end of the day she was pleased with the amount she’d achieved.

Anwen was in the parking lot walking to her car when her cell phone rang.

“Hi, John. How’s your day been?”

She noticed the extremely handsome man, a partner at the company she thought, walk past her to his car. Like him, his car was sleek, shiny and expensive. The man was dressed in a suit that was definitely not off the rack; the car came from a European showroom.

He was tall, muscular, with broad shoulders, and reddish-brown hair. His navy suit matched the dark blue of the car.

Anwen licked her lips as his delicious body climbed into his equally delicious car, then sighed and concentrated on her neighbor’s conversation again.
