Diane Craver
After her mother’s untimely
death, a twenty-year-old Amish woman has a difficult decision to make: Choose
to break from the Plain community and her boyfriend to live in the English
world permanently...or join the Amish church.
Rachel Hershberger wants to get
away from her Amish home in Fields Corner, Ohio. For a year she’s been trying
to fill her mother’s shoes by taking care of her father and siblings. Before
her mother died, Rachel was positive she wanted to marry Samuel Weaver, but now
she can’t think about wedding plans. She blames her father for her mother’s
death.
A Joyful Break
Thanks for posting this, Mickie! Enjoy your Sunday!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Diane.
DeleteDiane and Mickie--As Diane knows, I read this novel and was so pleased that she had done such a wonderful job with the characters and plot. The Amish are not easy to write about, as not everyone knows about their lives and beliefs. But Diane does know, and she wrote an excellent story. I hope everyone will read this one--it's well worth the time. And if you do read it, you'll see that the cover is perfect.

ReplyDeleteAs the first Amish romance I've ever read, this was a winner!
